Appendix I – Dōjō Membership Fees 

100% of dōjō membership fees shall be paid to Kinjō Kaichō. 

Independent Dōjō

• $300 annual to be paid at the beginning of the new fiscal year

Branch Dōjō

• $100 annual to be paid at the beginning of the new fiscal year

Appendix II – Teaching Certification

Shidoin

• One-time fee of $250 to be paid to the parent dōjō to obtain shidoin for karate or kobudō.
•  If the person is qualified to teach both karate and kobudō then there is a one-time fee of $500 to obtain a shidoin for both karate and kobudō.

Appendix III – Shihan

One-time fee of $500 for shihan to be paid to the international Okinawa Kōburyū Karatedō Kobudō Kōbukai. The shihan title may be granted for karate or kobudō or both.

Appendix IV – Titles

There is no additional fee for the honorary titles:  renshi, kyōshi, hanshi.

Appendix V – Membership Fees 

Membership fees for Okinawa Kōburyū Karatedō Kobudō Kōbukai are to be paid annually to Kōburyū USA on or before the student’s membership anniversary date. 

On a quarterly basis 100% of the Okinawa Kōburyū Karatedō Kobudō Kōbukai membership fees collected shall be remitted to Kinjō Kaichō. 

A member dōjō may create a dōjō Kōbukai and charge membership fees in addition to the membership fees for Okinawa Kōburyū Karatedō Kobudō Kōbukai.  It must be made clear that the dōjō Kōbukai is separate from the international Kōbukai with separate membership fees.

Kyū

• $25 for kyū-level children under the age of 16, to be paid annually by the membership anniversary date
• $50 for kyū-level students 16 and over, to be paid annually by the membership anniversary date

Dan

• $100 to be paid annually by the membership anniversary date
